The 25 year-old's accident at the event occured last Thursday.

The Owensboro Rage (Owensboro's professional indoor football team) has won their first game in team history, Sunday night at the Next Level Sports Complex. The Rage put up 60 points as they defeated the Cincinnati Bulldogs 60-0, in a shortened game at Ramada Inn Field, due to fourth quarter forfeit.
January 28, 2013 Saturday afternoon I had the pleasure of emceeing the 3rd and 4th Region KDCO Regional Dance Team Competition at Daviess County High School. Teams from schools across Western Kentucky were on hand to compete in 4 disciplines: Pom, Jazz, Open and Hip Hop! There were nearly 50 routines total, but only one school could claim the title of Grand Champion. And, this year, it was the Daviess County Pantherettes, who sealed the deal with this unbelievable Hip Hop routine. WATCH!

In fact, I hate to admit this, but I have probably spent 15 to 30% of my total lifetime on a tennis court, in a tennis stadium, or in front of a television with a tennis court on it. I got addicted to tennis in the early 80's when Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert were going head-to-head in one of the greatest rivalries in the history of sports, when Yannick Noah thrilled his countrymen and won the 1983 French Open and when Jimmy Connors took out John McEnroe to win the 1982 Wimbledon title. And today, I am just as hooked as I was then. Serena Williams. Novak Djokovic. Maria Sharapova. And Roger Federer, the greatest player of all-time! So, where am I going with this? We may be getting a brand new indoor tennis facility right here in Owensboro!

Notre Dame senior linebacker Manti Te'o had everything going for him. He was the most decorated defensive collegiate player ever, including capturing runner-up for the Heisman Trophy. He helped lead the Fighting Irish to an undefeated season and the team made it all the way to the BCS National Championship game. They lost overwhelmingly to Alabama, and maybe it was the start of a looming cloud building around the star linebacker.
