Air Force Supercar coming to the Barbecue Festival

I am a huge car fan! A classic muscle car or a shiny new pick-up truck can turn my head in an instant. I enjoy going to car shows, reading car magazines, and working on cars. Anything to do with cars, it catches my attention

Jason Koger: Owensboro’s Bionic Man [Video]

When I was a kid, I loved watching The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman.  I remember thinking how cool it would be to have a bionic leg or bionic hearing or a bionic arm.  While he never in a million years thought he would have a Steve Austin or Jamie Sommers-style accident and end up with bionic limbs (he was electrocuted), Owensboro's Jason Koger is enjoying his brand new bionic hands, that he demonstrated recently when he stopped by the WBKR studios.  Take a look!  Jason's new Touch Bionics hands can be controlled by a phone app and they will absolutely blow your mind!  This is truly one of the coolest things I have ever seen . . .

How Do You Watch TV?

While watching TV this week, I noticed a lot of commercials saying something like “if you missed your favorite show you can watch it tomorrow on a tablet, smart phone or other device.” I didn’t pay much attention to them at first, but as the week went on I started to see more of these commercials (or at least it seemed like I did)

Happy Birthday to Your Cell Phone

How many of you have a cell phone? I would probably imagine that some of you are even reading this on a cell phone. Well if you enjoy your cell phone (and most of us do), then today is a day to celebrate it!

Inaccessible Internet Is the 21st Century Equivalent of the ‘Rainy Day’ [VIDEO]

When you're at work, and a lot of the work you do is on the Internet, and the Internet goes down, well you're pretty much left with making coffee, chatting with colleagues, or wondering what the color of the hallway carpet COULD be.

Pre-flight Electronics Use May Be Up In The Air

Everyone who has flown knows the drill. Once you get on the plane you stow your bag, fasten your seat belt, and make sure to turn off any electronic devices. Well, one of those things could change by the beginning of next year

Pizza Hut to Hold Quick Interviews at SXSW

Yesterday I posted a blog about the South by Southwest festival. Well while doing some catching up on the events of the festival last night I can across something I thought was really cool.

Aside from the musical performances, film premieres, tech shows, and forums, this year a company will be holding a job interview at the festival. While normally this would cause too many people to raise an eyebrow (unless you were headed to Austin today) but the reason it sparked my interest was the style of interview that this company will be holding.

SXSW Festival Kicks Off In Austin

Last year I was introduced to a new festival. Well at least a new festival to me, this has been around as long as I have been alive. It is called South by Southwest. It covers technology, music and film. Since I am big into all three of these areas, I was surprised that I had never heard of this festival.
