Okay, I'm gonna get a little academic with you guys. I was introduced to a website called stumbleupon.com as a means of discovering some interesting topics around which to center some blogs. But it is so much more than a terrific work tool.

To be honest, I wasn't a big Facebook fan at first but it has grown on me. Now it is a big part of my life - just like the 500 million other people who log on to Facebook every day!

The future of social networking is here and it's called "Airtime.” Founded by notorious Napster duo Sean Parker and Shawn Fanning, Airtime works by accessing a user's Facebook account and webcam to not only connect to online friends, but to strangers as well. Various settings allow the service to "introduce" you to anyone with shared interests, friends, or location.
My only concern is that our kids may be talking to total strangers, so parents please keep advised on what our children are doing on the Internet.

The Flash-Matic was the name of the world’s first wireless TV remote control, and would change the way people watched TV. The television business lost one of its technological giants yesterday, as Eugene Polley died at the age of 96.
Today, wireless remote pioneered by Mr. Polley, is a standard feature on virtually all consumer electronics products. The most sophisticated digital HDTV sets have remotes with as many as 50 buttons. Of course, in 2012, virtually all television sets, set-top boxes, video players/recorders and other home entertainment components sold in the United States are equipped with remote control.
I think, maybe, I make gift-giving a little too tough on myself, sometimes, because I like to come up with just the right gift that probably never even occurred to the recipient, yet is the perfect thing. Thinking outside the "gift" box, I guess you could say.

I need to become an app creator, there is a new one called the "Ugly Meter" that rates how ugly we are, this app has raked in more than $500,000, $80,000 in just one day!
I've been chatting with a buddy of mine from high school on Facebook, I saw he had a picture of a very nice metal detector that he owned, we talked about it for a while and got me interested and thinking back to when I was a kid and when my dad had one too
