Cathy and Tommy Mullins Perform “Wings to Fly” for St. Jude

It was August 25th, 2011 that Brandon Mullins was killed in Afghanistan.  The 2008 Apollo High School graduate had been stationed at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, but was in the Middle East on special orders with Operation Enduring Freedom.  While serving there, his vehicle was attacked in the Kandahar province and the Owensboro, Kentucky, native never made it back home.

His parents Cathy and Tommy celebrate their son through music. They came by the studio today to sing for the St. Jude radiothon and encourage those parents who have also lost children.
