CBS Releases First Look At ‘Supergirl’ Series [VIDEO]

It's no secret I'm not a fan of remakes, reboots, etc. But the new CBS series 'Supergirl' is not really a traditional remake. I'll always be a fan of the the 1984 film flop of the same name with Helen Slater as our hero. Now, over 30 years later, we see a new Supergirl played by Melissa Benoist ('Glee') trying to hide her true identity working under a fierce female boss, played by Calista Flockhart (welcome back!), former 'Grey's Anatomy' star Chyler Leigh as her sister, tragedy strikes, and 'Supergirl' is off and running. Check it out!

With an abundance of superhero shows and movies out there, 'Supergirl' could be a hit. I know I'm going to watch it. 'Supergirl' will premiere Monday, November 2 at 7 p.m. (CST) on CBS.
