My friend Staci Scott bought some Bearded Dragons last Saturday and spent the weekend setting up their terrarium and lining the bottom of it with newspapers.  And she didn't realize, until early this week, that her dragons were popping a squat on the face of one of her dear friends.  Mine!!  Yes.  She lined their living quarters with a photo of ME!  These little Jurassic twerps are now dropping deuces on my head!

Meet Princess Stubbs and Duchess Yoshi, two Bearded Dragons, who originally hail from Australia, but now live in Owensboro in Staci's bedroom.

And look whose face is lining the bottom of their terrarium!  Look familiar????

Yep!  That's a Messenger-Inquirer story about our St. Jude fundraising event, "Sweatin' for St. Jude." I would like to point out that to the left of my picture is a photo of Jaclyn.  But her face is protected by Princess Stubb's and Duchess Yoshi's water feature.  Lucky for Jaclyn.  As for my face, it's right out there in the open waiting for some dragon to crawl by and drop a load of wolf bait on it.  Lucky me!!

And, making matters worse.  Bearded Dragons have a pretty awful diet.  They eat cockroaches!!  Staci took some video of them chowing down on a little cockroach jerky.  The footage is a little grainy, but you'll get the idea of how these things look when they eat.  Think Jaclyn unleashing her forked tongue in the direction of an unsuspecting cupcake . . .

And, just in case you wanted to learn more about Bearded Dragons, check this out!  It's a video featuring "7 Cool Facts" about them.

Oh great!  They like to breed a lot.  Great!  Not only are Staci's dragons relieving themselves on my head, but apparently my face is the bear skin rug on the floor of a giant boom boom room for reptiles.  I always knew it would come to this.
