With the Legislative Session getting ready to draw to a close, there are still several items on the agenda. Items like the biennial budget with possible funding for the OCTC Advanced Technology Center Phase 2 are being talked about around the community.

Well this Saturday, you have a chance to see where these items stand, as well as where other items on this session’s agenda stand at the Greater Owensboro Chamber of Commerce Legislative Forum. The Forum will take place this tomorrow morning at 8 in the Commerce Center Conference room, 200 East Third Street.

This is a chance to the community to get involved and hear from Legislative members about what is going on in Frankfort. It is also a chance to ask questions about bills and decisions being made in Frankfort that affect the area.

Several legislators from the area have been invited to attend the event, including: Senator Joe Bowen, Representative Tommy Thompson, Representative Suzanne Miles, Representative Jim Glenn and Representative Jim Gooch, and Representative Dwight Butler.

The forum will open immediately to questions from those attending through a moderator. The forum will close with comments from each legislator.  This is a great chance to be part of the process and to find out where legislators stand on key issues.
