Chili for Children Fundraiser This Friday at Lourdes

I'm not judgmental, but in this case I'll happily make an exception. I've been asked to judge a chili tasting competition Friday during the Chili for Children Fundraiser at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Hall.

The event, which aims to raise money for Building Stronger Families, will last from 11AM to 12:30PM at the Hall.

For a $7.00 (or more) donation, you'll get chili, a hotdog, a dessert, and a drink. Carry out will be available if you call ahead. The number is 929-7429.

At noon, the chili tasting competition will begin featuring the finest Gary's Drive Inn, Big Dipper, Old Hickory BBQ, Ole South Barbeque, and Wendy's have to offer. It's a great cause featuring great food so come out and join us this Friday.
