Mom has three nativity scenes she displays at Christmas. There's one she puts on top of her old china cabinet. That's the family's oldest one..

Then there's the one she puts under the Christmas tree. It's the largest of the three.

And then there's the one she sets on the concrete bench in her garden out front.

And THAT'S where our story begins.
