Christmas Wish Fundraiser Saturday!

Mattingly-Palmer Promotions and Pangea Cafe are teaming up for a very special night of music, entertainment and fundraising.  This Saturday night (Nov. 17th) is the Star Light, Star Bright silent auction and concert event for Christmas Wish, which is about the begin its 36th consecutive season of making sure every child in the tri-state gets a visit from Santa!  So, you wanna know who's playing at the big show and what items are up for bid in the silent action?  Keep reading!

Doors for Star Light, Star Bright open at 7:30pm.  From 7:30pm to 8:30pm guests will be treated to delicious appetizers from Pangea's Chef Justin.  You can eat, mingle and bid on some incredible silent auction items.  By the way, if you'd like to check out some of those items, visit Star Light, Star Bright's official event page on Facebook!

Then at 9pm, Riley's Station will take the stage and close out the evening with a full band set!

Tickets for Star Light, Star Bright are just $15 per person.  Or couples can get in for $25.  Portions of the proceeds from the door and ALL the proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the WBKR/WOMI Telecom Pioneers Christmas Wish program. The Christmas Wish office officially opens to the public on Monday, November 26th.  And we are currently accepting Christmas Wish letters.  They can be mailed to Christmas Wish, 3301 Frederica Street, Owensboro, KY 42301.  Or you can submit them electronically by CLICKING HERE!

When writing a Christmas Wish letter is very important to be as detailed as possible.  We need a full summary of the family's situation and why they need our assistance.  We also need the names of all children in the household, their ages, schools they attend, all clothing sizes and a list of their likes/toy preferences/needs/etc.
