CMT Crossroads premiered in 2002 and offered fans the chance to see country stars mix it up musically with some of their favorite artists from the worlds pop, rock, r&b and more.

Personally, I feel like the series hit its stride when, in October of 2002, the Dixie Chicks teamed with James Taylor. And that extraordinarily successful "experiment" was followed by Travis Tritt/Ray Charles, Kenny Chesney/John Mellencamp, Dolly Parton/Melissa Etheridge, and Martina McBride/Pat Benatar.

That's been the best "five-in-a-row" CMT Crossroads has offered, in my opinion, while always still being fresh and original with the team-ups.

The new episodes are no less ingenious, beginning on March 24th with Cheap Trick/Jennifer Nettles and continuing throughout the summer with Luke Bryan/Jason Derulo, Rob Thomas/Jason Derulo, and Nick Jonas/Thomas Rhett.

These are great combinations and I cannot wait!
