Prince is gone, and it's cliche', but his music will live on. I thought I would do a little research and I found a few covers of Prince songs from the world of country.

First up, Darius Rucker idolized Prince and he's covered "Purple Rain" at several of his live shows. This is a performance from his annual benefit concert for St. Jude at the Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville last June and the crowd sings every word.

The second one is from Lady Antebellum. At the 2011 CMT Awards, the trio had a little fun cutting short their hit "Just a Kiss" midway through and launching into Prince's "Kiss". Hilary Scott makes a costume change and Charles Kelley hops behind the drums.
