The gorgeous Louise Mandrell is 57. A Texan from Corpus Christi she has a famous sister -- Barbara Mandrell. Along with her other sibling Irlene, at one time the Mandrell Sisters were among the most popular singers on TV.  You can see Louise performing in Branson.

It’s the 52nd birthday of musician Brent Mason. The guitarist was born in Vanwert, Ohio. That distinctive guitar sound on Alan Jackson's "Chattahoochee" is Brent. He won the Country Music Association's musician of the year twice.

Bluegrass singer Rhonda Vincent is 49. Wow, looking good. Rhonda hails from the show-me-state of Missouri. Born in Kirksville, she has appeared at R.O.M.P. in Owensboro.   While primarily a Bluegrass singer, she can knock out a pure Country sound, too. Here she and Gene Watson perform "Together Again" on the Grand Ole Opry.

Songwriter Neil Thrasher is 46 today. The Alabama born and bred tunesmith wrote Kenny Chesney's "There Goes My Life," Rascal Flatts' "Fast Cars And Freedom" and Montgomery Gentry's "Some People Change". Not bad. Happy birthday Neil.
