Country Stars’ Birthdays — July 14 — Jamey Johnson [Video]

The first song I recall hearing Jamey Johnson sing was "In Color" , a very moving tribute to the U.S. men and women who served the country during wartime. I met him at the St. Jude Children's Hospital radiothon orientation in January, 2006. He was there appearing as a songwriter, not a singer, per se. He reminded me of a mountain man. Jamey is 36 today, but his soul is a lot older than that.  When you read about him you can see what I mean. Keep writing and singing for us Jamey and Happy Birthday!
