A new local business in Owensboro is officially opening its doors today/Friday! A ribbon cutting ceremony for Crazy Me Gifts & Apparel at 217 Willamsburg Square will take place at 12:15 p.m. today.

Owner Donna Southard started the business as a part-time side job in her home last year. After a year of providing customers with the latest merchandise, Southard decided it was time to expand. Southard has dabbled in home-based businesses since 1999, when she became a scrapbooking consultant for Creative Memories. Crazy Me customers are drawn to the personalized gift offerings of Southard's inventory, which includes unique tumblers, coffee mugs, monogrammed clothing, and much more.

Customers who visit Crazy Me between now and July 31st will be entered into a drawing for a stand-up cooler, jewelry, original shirts, home decor and more. They can register to win when visiting the store and they can gain and additional ticket for the drawing by making a purchase.
