Crossville, Illinois Man Killed Overnight by Severe Storms

Last night's severe storms hit White County, Illinois hard.  There were tornado warnings for the area and authorities, sadly, discovered one fatality.

Crews found the body of a Crossville, Illinois man behind his home and say it appears he was trying to seek shelter from the incoming storm.  The victim's wife also sustained injuries.  She was transported to the hospital.

There have been property damage reports in White County, Illinois as well as in Gibson County, Indiana.
