Today was my first day of broadcasting my Midday Show from our Christmas Wish office. I love being in here because I get a firsthand look on just how great our community is! Last year over 1000 families were helped. That's over 3600 people! As of me typing this out, we currently have 635 letters ready to be adopted.

I will be posting a daily update here with immediate needs and a CW Letter of the Day. Here's the first one...

Letter #146

"My son is three years old and this is his first real Christmas that he is going to actually enjoy. I am unemployed at the time and cannot work. I just had my 18th surgery due to an old complication and now have a Wound Vac to keep me healthy until my wounds heal. This year Christmas would be nearly non-existent without some sort of help. He's such a wonderful little boy and I truly want to see his eyes light up from the gifts that Santa brings to him. I have no money right now to buy much of anything, so I was hoping someone would 'adopt' my son in this letter and help him have the Christmas that he so deserves. He definitely needs clothes, but pants more than anything. He's outgrown nearly all of his clothes so fast, I can barely keep up. If anyone could please grant my baby's wish and help me to make this Christmas memorable, we would truly be grateful and very blessed. Thank you so much and may God bless you and your family."

This is letter #146 and you adopt this family by calling 270-685-0006 or you can always stop by the Christmas Wish office inside Towne Square Mall.

Here are some current needs:

- New toys for all ages 3mth-18 yr olds, boys and girls

- A family is in need of pots and pans

- Several have requested twin beds. We have had a few letters with children who are sleeping on the floor.

- Looking for firewood for a few families in Ohio and Hancock counties

- Used, but working washers, dryers, stoves

- A bike for a 2 year old girl

Thank You in advance for always helping out our Tri-State area for Christmas Wish!
