The restaurant chain plans to implement the change nationwide by Sept 1st, 2015. As of that date, kids' menu items will consist of an entree, a side order and milk or water.   However, soft drinks will still be available upon request.

Dairy Queen has roughly 4,300 locations nationwide, including three locations in Owensboro and many others throughout the tri-state.
