Danica Patrick has always made headlines as a Sprint Cup driver. Sometimes for her semi-racy GoDaddy.com commercials, sometimes for her latest romantic status or which late-night talk-show she'll be appearing on. This time...she's made headlines for making history. Racing history...

At this Sunday's Daytona 500, for the first time in race history, a woman has qualified for the pole position. After posting the fastest lap in Saturday's practice, Danica sealed the deal today. She will start alongside of Jeff Gordan, who qualified second.

You can catch the race Sunday, February 24th at noon right here on WBKR.

Oh, I almost forgot... You Go Girl!!
