Dave Goes Nostalgic with Vintage Donkey Kong Machine [VIDEO]

While browsing through Tech 1 Connect in Beaver Dam during my live broadcast Wednesday afternoon, I wandered into the back room and discovered a blast from my past.

There it was, standing in the corner, in all its glory–DONKEY KONG! That’s right! It’s a real honest-to-goodness 1981 Nintendo Donkey Kong machine.

When I was teenager, I ruled at Donkey Kong. Of course, that’s when you had to actually go to an arcade. You didn’t have video games at home. And Donkey Kong was my game.

I’ve tried playing it online, but it just isn’t the same. You have to have a joystick. Well, anyway, I tried my hand at it for the first time in nearly 30 years. I was a little rusty, but it all came back to me.
