Daviess County Public System Adopts the 2015-2016 School Calendar

Some of you may already know this.  Some of you may not.  But the Daviess County Public School System recently adopted the 2015-2016 school calendar and there are couple of dates to be aware of, including the dates for Fall Break 2015.  Here's a look at the complete schedule!

The vote to adopt the 2015-2016 school calendar happened in December (as it does annually) and puts the Daviess County Public School System on a similar schedule, relatively, as Owensboro City Schools.  Owensboro City Schools will begin the school year Wednesday, August 5th.  Daviess County Schools will actually begin classes a week later on Wednesday, August 12th. However, Fall Break (for both school systems) will occur in the middle of October.  Fall Break generally is the first or second week in October.  In 2015, it will be the second.
