After a recanvass of the Democratic Presidential Primary votes, Hillary Clinton remains the winner in Kentucky.

Though Hillary Clinton unofficially won Kentucky, the end results had her opponent Bernie Sanders behind by less than one-half of 1 percent of the vote. Support for Sanders in Eastern Kentucky was strong, but Hillary still outlasted the Senator. She will pick up 28 delegates while he will be rewarded with 27. Sanders decided to accept the results and not ask for a recount.

Clinton is just 74 delegates shy of securing the Democratic nomination. Republican candidate Donald Trump secured all of his delegates on Thursday thus he will be the projected nominee.
