Demonstration Illustrates Danger of Leaving Pets in a Hot Car [VIDEO]

It drives me crazy when I see cars in parking lots on hot summer days with dogs closed up inside them. I usually tell someone inside the place of business, usually a store, so that an announcement can be made.

And, to be honest, I haven’t seen this happen in quite some time. But it DOES happen. And it should NEVER happen.

Here at work, we were discussing, just the other day, how hot it gets inside a car on a hot day. In some instances, we’re talking 15 to 20 degrees warmer than the outside temperature. Even on a nice day.

Seriously, if you’re running to the store or just doing errands, it’s probably a good idea to just leave the pet at home. Potential consequences aren’t anything pet owners want to even consider.
