I need to remind myself to never get arrested.  I have a feeling that Deputy Raygen Bennett, with the Daviess County Detention Center, is probably going to remember this for a long time.  But you are never going to guess what happened to him yesterday at work.  Thanks to my good friend Joni Barnett (yes, I am throwing my alibi under the bus), I happened across the story of what happened when Deputy Bennett tried to use a microwave "unsafe" bowl.  It didn't go well . . . at all!  LOOK!

Needless to say, Deputy Bennett was expecting to open the microwave door and see his bowl full of chili.  Instead, he only saw his chili.  The bowl was gone, disintegrated, radiated to bits.  His reaction was priceless!

Now, here's the deal.  The chili was cooked up Deborah Mitchell, who apparently makes a mean batch of it.  So, Deputy Bennett, despite the fact that the bowl was obliterated, decided he was going to try and eat the chili anyway. Nevermind the fact that he actually discovered one piece of the bowl hanging on for dear life.

Deputy Bennett's coworkers were urging him not to eat the chili.  According to Karen Davis "He googled it to see if he could still eat it.  Everything said not to but he took a bite anyway then immediately spit it out.  He said it tasted like plastic." Well, yeah!  LOL!

Hilarious!  And Deborah Mitchell, whoever you are, you bring some of that chili over here to WBKR.  We'll take good care of it.  I promise!  We'll get the chili OUT of the bowl, not put the bowl IN the chili.
