Just as Louisville's Mangok Mathiang hit the go-ahead shot to eventually defeat Virginia in their final regular season game last Saturday, the OVC Men's title game in Nashville between Belmont and Murray St. was going down to the wire. For Murray St., their 25 game winning streak, the second longest in the country behind Kentucky, was broken when Taylor Barnette hit a crazy three-pointer that basically sealed the victory and automatic bid for the Bears, who will be making their 7th appearance in the NCAA tournament. However, college commentator Dick Vitale thinks the Racers deserve a bid. Just take a look at his social media posts.

Okay, so Vitale has really no influence on the selection committee, but a little boost doesn't hurt.

As for Dickie V, he is in Nashville for the Men's SEC Tournament. Kentucky will take on Florida in the quarterfinals on Friday at Noon, and you can hear the game live on 92.5 WBKR!
