Dierks Bentley Loves Bourbon in Kentucky — His New Song, Listen to a Clip

Dierks Bentley’s new Bourbon in Kentucky is coming soon. We can hardly wait. When WBKR Music Director Dave Spencer mentioned the title to me, I, of course, could hardly wait. “Scotch in Texas” might appeal to me even more. You can hear an exclusive clip of the song at Rolling Stone magazine. Later today the full release will be at Dierks’ website. Dierks is joined on the tune by Kacey Musgraves (Merry-go-Round), an incredible new talent we love around the WBKR building. It will be the sirst single from his new CD, “RISER” coming this fall.

Dierks told the magazine he is dedicating the song to his late father who passed away last year. About the song he says, “I’ve been there before where you can’t drink your way through a heartache or a broken heart.  There’s such an aggressive lonesomeness in this song.”

Bourbon in Kentucky coming to WBKR and wbkr.com. SOON!
