According to a news release from Dollar General headquarters in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, the store at 10539 Hwy 431 now features an "updated layout and design."  That update includes a selection of produce and an expanded frozen and refrigerated food section.   Company officials say the new layout is designed to making shopping simple and more convenient for customers.  Seasonal products are displayed in the center of the store for increased visibility.  Departments are easy to find due to visible signage.  And coolers are located at the front of the store.

Congratulations to the Utica site!  If you live in that area, you'll definitely want to drop in and take advantage of the new selections and availability!  And today's news is quite possibly a relief for grocery shoppers in McLean County, specifically those living along Hwy 431. Those shoppers recently learned that two IGA stores, one in Calhoun and one in Livermore, are closing their doors.
