You know how I wrote earlier this week the price of postage had dropped, don't worry, nothing has changed. However, save your stamps for your tax returns until Monday. Tax Day is April 18th this year; here's why.

Beware the ides of April, not this year. You will have all weekend to finish up your taxes because Emancipation Day, which is normally observed on April 16th, this Saturday, thus the holiday will be observed Friday. It's a legal holiday in Washington, D.C. What's in D.C? The IRS. Whew!!!

Confession, I e-filed mine in February, but I know two people who will be waiting until the very last minute to file, my parents. Maybe I should let them know? And, if you know someone who lives in Maine or Massachusetts, they have until Tuesday to file due to the observance of Patriot's Day.
