DR. PEPPER HAM

A 4-pound ham (approximately)

1 1/2 cups of Dr. Pepper

1 cup of brown sugar

1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce

**Cook in a slow cooker for approximately 8 hours**

That's it!  This recipe requires literally about five minutes of prep time, but it is absolutely delicious.  And don't just take it from me.  Several WBKR listeners and Facebook friends swear by this recipe too.  Here's what a few had to say . . .

Starlet Light- The best ham ever!

Janie Cecil- The same things I used to fix my ham!

Lorna Lanham- Good to see that Field Ham!!  Eat local!! And good recipe btw!!

David Thompson-  It was amazing!

Melissa Alexander-  I am in Montana and I just prepped my Christmas ham the same way!

Joyce Lee Boswell-  I cooked the hams and the other meats at Sir Beef and we used brown sugar, scored the ham, put clove in the ham and basted it with Dr. Pepper. I still do that now! Pierce the ham with a double fork so the juices can run in!!  It's sooo juicy!

And, take it from me too.  This recipe is PHENOMENAL!!  Serve it up and you'll have a Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas.
