Dr. Phil Attempts To Interview Grayson Co. Teen Dalton Hayes

Dr. Phil McGraw visited the Grayson County Detention Center in Leitchfield on Friday with intent to interview 18-year-old Dalton Hayes, who with his 13-year-old girlfriend made national headlines when they ran away for a short term crime spree before being apprehended in Florida. The press dubbed the pair as a "modern day Bonnie & Clyde".

McGraw's crew had everything set up until Grayson Co. Judge Harold Goff issued a verbal gag order on Hayes. As of Friday afternoon, McGraw's crew was still attempting to get the gag order lifted. Hayes was arraigned in Grayson Co. last week. His pre-trial hearing is this Thursday. He's being held on a $250,000 cash bond. Hayes is also facing additional charges in neighboring Breckenridge County.
