Elliott Wins Nationwide Championship with Top Five Finish at Phoenix

Chase Elliott has dominated the Nationwide series in 2014,and capped his season off with yet another fifth place finish on Saturday at Phoenix Motor Speedway.   Elliott wrapped up the Championship with a race to spare, and can throw a big party at Homestead Speedway in Miami next weekend.  Elliott put the pedal down, winning three times, along with 16 top fives and 26 top tens. Not bad for an 18 year old. With his outstanding season, Chase also picked up the Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year award!  The Nationwide series will come to a close next week, at Homestead Miami Speedway with the Ford Ecoboost 300.
