The Grand Ole Opry will really never be the same after the passing of the legendary Little Jimmy Dickens Friday night in Nashville.

A true gem, Little Jimmy made Opry audiences laugh for more than 65 years. I'm fortunate that I've been in a few of those audiences.

My only regret is that I never got to meet him. And wouldn't THAT have been funny. I'm 6'5" tall and he...wasn't.

But, he was, nonetheless, a giant in the world of country music and it really is sad to see him go.
