I named them Moe, Larry, and Curly. That's because Faith, Hope, and Charity didn't apply.

A few years ago, when I vacationed with my family in Gatlinburg, we stayed in a condo. We were on the fifth floor and when we'd walk out the door, we'd be facing the slope of a mountain. Right across from our condo was a tree where three raccoons would always gather.

It seemed as if they unofficially had the run of the place, because I'd see them everywhere around our building. We'd go out sightseeing--to the Ripley's Aquarium, for example--and return to find them hanging around in the parking lot. They were always there.

One night, I had to go out to my car for something. When I got off the elevator on the ground floor and rounded the corner to use the narrow walkway to the lot, there they were again--Moe, Larry, and Curly--blocking my path. Not moving. Not intimidated. THEY were in charge.

This forced me to walk through the pool house where I walked across what I thought was a big blue mat--the only light in the house came from the street lights outside--but learned, instead, that it was a full hot tub. And I fell into it fully clothed.

Fear not, friends. Those racoons are likely long gone, but if you're not me, you'd probably be fine, regardless. No when you register to win a trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg and the beautiful Smoky Mountains, you'll have much more exciting times in store for you than an episode of As the Racoon Turns.

For starters, if you win, you'll stay in a cabin called A Lover's Secret. Check out this description:

A Lover’s Secret Cabin features a very unique jetted tub next to a stone gas fireplace in the master suite with a King size bed and a 32″ LCD TV on the wall at the foot of the bed. This secret has all the ingredients you’ll need to make it Valentine’s day all year long. The Great Room has a stone gas fireplace, 42″ HD LCD TV, DVD player, comfy recliner and a Queen sleeper sofa in case you bring the kids. Upstairs you’ll find the Pool Table in the loft, as well as a futon to relax on and a 3rd deck if you need a breath of fresh air! The fully equipped kitchen, both a charcoal & a gas grill in a quiet setting provide the the final touches.

Just imagine THAT as your home base while you explore all that Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area has to offer. Attractions like the Dixie Stampede, Titanic, the Ripley's Believe It or Not Attractions and the aforementioned Ripley's Aquarium, the Lumberjack Feud, and the Hatfields & McCoys Dinner Feud. And while you're there, don't miss a trip to Clingman's Dome, the highest point in Tennessee. It's like you're on another planet. I love Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and you will, too. Sign up now!
