EPC (Engineered Plastic Components) Announces Its Closure

We've received news that another Owensboro business will be closing. This is never an enjoyable task as folks will be losing their jobs.

Engineered Plastic Components, which manufactures plastic injection molded products, will be ceasing operations at its Owensboro location.

The corporate office is in Iowa with other plants located in Missouri, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, North Carolina, Alabama, and Mexico.

There had been chatter on Facebook, but then we saw the report from Jake Boswell from TriState Homepage/Eyewitness News and we had confirmation.

According to Boswell, a statement from EPC's president and CEO indicates the plant, at 838 Industrial Drive, will shut down in the latter half of October of this year.
