I almost forgot I shot this. The Shades of Blue Art & Music Festival was held in Beaver Dam a few weeks ago, and part of the entertainment on Saturday, a couple of Hartford's The Courthouse Players would be singing a few country tunes. I present Neil Grant or maybe Mr. Grant to some of you.

Dad performed three songs, "The Grand Tour", "Make the World Go Away", and "She Thinks I Still Care".

Never mind me and Mom; we were just people watching...and surveying the situation. All kidding aside, Dad has been part of the CHP since 1991, the players have been around since the early 80s. Our personalities are pretty close, we're both shy, sarcastic, and wryly funny. Alas, I have never had the guts to get up and act and/or sing on stage. He continues to amaze me with his talent and his dedication to the craft.

The Courthouse Players next production, Doctor Doolittle, opens November 14th. (Nov. 14-16, Nov. 21-23) and will be staged at the old Ohio Co. Courthouse in Hartford. And yes, Dad will be co-starring.
