I've seen a lot of great pictures from the Garth Brooks concerts from his recent 4-show run in Louisville, but I'd have to say that Mickey Phernetton had the best seat in the house. Mickey, a 19 year old from Evansville, got a very special performance from "her hero" during sound check before his Friday shows.

According to this Evansville Courier & Press article, Mickey was born with Prader-Willi Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that leaves her constantly hungry. Her father, Evansville Police Department Sgt. Patrick Phernetton is one of the founders of 911 Gives Hope.

EPD Chief Billy Bolin caught this very special moment between Mickey and Garth after his sound check.
