Additional Information

Daviess County High School’s Troupe 5849 of the International Thespian Society presents FAME Saturday April 29 at 7 PM and Sunday April 30 at 2 PM in the school’s auditorium.
FAME, based on the screenplay by Christopher Gore and adapted for stage by Christopher Sergel, is the play version of the movie. The play opens at auditions for the School of Performing Arts in New York City. The first problem for the hundreds of young people is to get accepted. As the play begins, the school is in the midst of auditioning applicants. They're every size, shape and attitude. They're scared, they're brave, they're rich and they're poor. They've got nothing in common but a compelling dream—and each pursues it in a special way just as each must deal with the special problems of their various lives
FAME is produced through special arrangements with Dramatic Publishing, Woodstock, Illinois.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for gradesK-12. Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain. Come re-live the 80’s with some trivia and music prior to the show.
For interviews and further questions, please contact Karen Feldhaus at the school at 270-852-7300.
