If you didn’t see TWO's youth production of THE YELLOW BOAT this summer, you will have two more opportunities. The true story of a young boy afflicted with AIDS related complications returns for an encore performance Friday, October 2 and Saturday the 3rd at 7:00 PM. Sponsored by OPEN DOOR UNITARIAN FELLOWSHIP, the show will be at The Empress Theater, 418 Frederica. See this important play and make a difference yourself, by signing up for THE OWENSBORO AIDS WALK. The walk will be Saturday, October 24 at noon, starting at KWC campus.

TWO is sponsoring a talent show called OWENSBORO’S KIDS HAVE TALENT! Loosely based on the television show, America’s Got Talent, there will be prizes for all participants and larger prizes for the winners. A special text voting system will be used for audience participation as well as live qualified Judges. The show will have two age categories (12 and under and 13-19) and there will be winners in each age group. AUDITIONS are OCTOBER 4th and 5th at Trinity Center, 407 West 5th Street, Owensboro, KY. The 6:00 PM show will be for ages 12 and under and the 8:30 PM show will be for ages 13-19 years of age.

The American classic, OF MICE AND MEN opens Friday, October 16 at The Empress. John Steinbeck’s beloved story of depression era migrant workers will play 10/16 through 10/24. Evening shows will be at 7:30 PM, with a 2:00 matinee Sunday October 18. The play is kindly sponsored by “A Friend of TWO.”
