Four Kentucky firefighters who lost their lives while or after serving their communities are among those to be honored at the Annual National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service in Emmitsburg, Maryland on October 4th.

One of those firefighters is Charles Goff from the McQuady Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, who suffered a fatal heart attack after returning  from an auto accident that involved another firefighter.

The other three are Lieutenant Jonathan French of Glendale, Major Malcolm Jenkins of Fern Creek, and Chief Robert "Bud" Webster of Glencoe.

These brave gentlemen's names will be added to the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial.
