His name is Danny Keefe. He's 6 years old. He wears a coat and tie to school. And he's the water coach for the Bridgewater Badgers Division 5 PeeWees football team.

When Danny was born he suffered a brain hemorrhage and now has difficulty speaking due to childhood apraxia of speech or CAS. It's a disorder that prevents the tongue, lips, and jaw from functioning properly when one is attempting to form sounds.

Because of this speech impediment, Danny has been picked on at school. And his Badger teammates are having none of it.

So they decided to all come to school wearing coats and ties one day to show their support and love for Danny.

Recently, I was blown away by the kindness and maturity of 8th graders in Michigan with regards to one of their friends. And now, a bunch of 10- and 11-year-olds, this time from Massachusetts, are impressing me again.

These kids are a powerful example of the good that IS out there if we just know where to look.
