Fireworks Displays in Evansville, Owensboro, Henderson, Newburgh and the Tri-State
The Tri-State always makes the best of July 4th with some of the best fireworks shows around. Here’s a list of some of the most spectacular shows you can take the family to this year!
The Henderson Riverfront will host a huge celebration for the 4th! Food booths will open at 5:30 with kids’ entertainment and activities starting at 6pm in Audubon Mill Park on the Henderson Riverfront. The activities include Lewis D. Chaney, Magical Entertainer, a petting zoo provided by Equestrian Enterprises and pony rides will also be available for $4.00.! For the older crowd, The Dave Lutz Band at 6pm and the whole family will enjoy the fireworks at 9pm!
The Tropicana and Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana (TMMI) fireworks will start around 9 o’clock, or after dark along the downtown Evansville riverfront. The food vendors will start serving food around 6 o’clock until after the fireworks. Food booths include: fried rice, hot dogs, corn dogs, Chicago style dogs, polish sausage, chess cakes, cold can drinks, freeze pops, cheeseburgers, chili-cheese nachos, lemon shake-ups, popcorn, kettle Corn, brats, pizza and funnel cakes.
After the Farmers Market on June 7th, move up to Jennings Street, next to Cleo’s Bakery and Bag Lunch for the 2014 Fireworks Rally. The Little Old Dam Band will be there to bring the party to life. The buttons are only $5.00 each – button holders are able to sit in the VIP area which is the lawn west of the Old Lock and Dam Building.
The 2014 Heritage Federal Credit Union Fireworks and Evening in the Park will be held July 4th with a rain date of July 6th. Evening in the Park begins at 6 pm with food, games and music by the Old Dam Band. Fireworks begin at 9 pm.
View the fireworks from the beautiful Ohio Riverfront as the City of Owensboro celebrates the Fourth of July with music from the Owensboro Symphony Orchestra and concludes with fireworks shot off from a barge in the Ohio River. Gates open at 6 pm, followed by speeches, Color Guard, and fireworks accompanied by patriotic music at 9.

Fireworks on the river take place at 9:15. Owensboro Symphony Orchestra on the McConnell Plaza beginning at 8.
