Five More Places To Take a Selfie in Owensboro [PHOTOS]

We figured out five great places to take a selfie a couple weeks ago and some people had some suggestions.  I ventured back out into Owensboro and found five more perfect picture spots!

This one didn't take very long to find.  I just went outside.  This is the tower for our historic 77 year old sister station WOMI.  You can hear it on the AM Dial at 1490 or or FM at 99.1! 

This is Gabe.  I had to look him up on Google Street View because there was a little confusion about where he was standing and waving at everyone these days.  I found him though on Burlew BLVD and he certainly is a tall gentleman.

I don't know if I'm supposed to be up here or not but I figured that the Ohio River along with the debris, trees and brown hue should be part of my selfie expedition.  I wanted to get a bunch of the river in the shot so I climbed to the balcony at the Convention Center.  Oh and what is that down below?

Well it's the newly renovated pier!  We watched the Josh Merritt Band down here last week and it was awesome to be out over the river.  If you haven't seen this or taken a little stroll on it.... You should!

Hello Blue Bridge.  This one is by request and I figured that this was the best place to stand.  Because the gate was closed at BB&T Plaza.
