Ford Recalls More Than a Million Cars Due to Steering Wheel Malfunction

Yikes! Imagine driving down the road and your steering wheel just detaches. I think we all know that's never good.

If you drive a Ford Fusion or a Lincoln MKZ manufactured from 2014 through 2018, it's possible that could be you.

Select vehicles that fit that description are being recalled because of the presence of loose steering wheel bolts that could lead to a steering wheel in your lap.

And about 1.3 million of those DO fit that description.

If you have a Fusion or an MKZ made in that time frame, head to your Ford dealership and if you are affected, that bolt will be replaced with a longer one at no cost.
