Former Apollo High School Basketball Standout, Tyler Brown, is making his debut for the Kentucky Thoroughbreds this weekend and we had a chance to hear his story!

I had the opportunity to watch Tyler and the other Thoroughbred players practice Thursday afternoon.  When I walked into the gym I noticed a young man about 4 years old shooting ball and well he was super good!  I later learned he was Tyler's son, Trace.  He is in this weekend to watch his dad play some ball.  It was such a blessing to watch the two of them interact on and off the court.

What I love most about Tyler's story is that he is getting a second chance through Friends of Sinners, at life, his basketball career, and to be an amazing example for his son and others that look up to him.

Tyler's season with the Thoroughbreds will kickoff at the Owensboro Sportscenter this weekend on Saturday, March 24, at 7 p.m. against the Vancouver Knights and he will play again on Sunday, March 25 at 4 p.m.

Owensboro lets do what we do best and show our support to one of our own back in his hometown!

PROUD OF YOU TYLER!

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
