Kurt Busch won the Nascar Sprint Cup (then Nextel series) in 2004. Since then, his little brother Kyle has notched up impressive stats, and Busch has seen more drama off the track then on. Nascar suspended Busch the elder indefinitely on Friday after an investigation into allegations of domestic violence against an ex-girlfriend surfaced. Regan Smith will drive Busch's no. 41 for Stewart-Haas Racing in Sunday's Daytona 500.

Busch's appeal Saturday was denied and, to add insult to injury, Chevrolet announced Friday it was cutting its ties with the driver. This will be the third time Busch has had to miss a race due to disciplinary reasons.

You can catch all the live coverage of the Daytona 500 Sunday beginning at 11am on The Country Station! 92.5 WBKR.
