Former WBKR Intern Whitney Merritt Releases CD

We are so proud of our former intern, Whitney Merritt!  After leaving WBKR, Whitney went down to Nashville to attend Belmont and has been working hard toward her dream of writing and singing country music.  And, earlier this month, all of Whitney's hard work paid off.  She released her very first CD!

Whitney's brand new CD is called It Ain't Easy and features 5 tracks: Barking Up the Wrong Tree, It Ain't Easy, Dirty Dishes, When the Heart Wants and Know What You Do.  Each song was written by Whitney, with the exception of Dirty Dishes, which was written by her father, Paul Merritt.
