Friday Night Fight Finalist #3 Adam Scott of Ohio County, KY

The lineup is set for the finals of our brand new talent contest, WBKR's Friday Night Fight. We have teamed up with Friday After 5 and Gordy's Owensboro Music to give one lucky performer or group the chance to open for LOCASH in downtown Owensboro on Friday, August 24th. Eight acts have qualified for our finale, which will be held 7pm Saturday, August 4th at Diamond Lake Campground and Resort. Finalist #3 is Adam Scott. Adam is a tremendous singer-songwriter who originally hails from Ohio County, Kentucky. Adam is now living in Nashville and has earned himself the chance to compete for the opportunity to land our grand prize. Here's video from Adam's audition at PizzAroma.

The finals of WBKR's Friday Night Fight will take place on Saturday, August 4th at Diamond Lake's Good Time Theatre. There, our eight finalists will compete in a "The Voice"-inspired series of knockout rounds. At the end of our bracket-style battle, one act will be left standing and will win a $1000 shopping spree at Gordy's Owensboro Music and the right to open for LOCASH at Friday After 5 on Friday, August 24th. The winning act will get the exciting opportunity to perform a full 45-minute set in front of thousands of LOCASH fans!

Tickets for the WBKR Friday Night Fight finale are just $10 per person (cash and check) and are available in advance at the WBKR studios (3301 Frederica Street, Owensboro, KY 42301) or the main office at Diamond Lake Campground and Resort. Tickets will also be available at the door on Saturday, August 4th. The Good Time Theatre box office will open at 5pm. Doors open at 6pm. Seating is general admission, first-come, first-served.
