Funeral Arrangements for Lane Goodwin Today – Livestream Available

Arrangements for Lane Goodwin, 13, of Calhoun, have been released.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday, October 22, at the Calhoun Baptist Church, 315 Main Street, Calhoun, Kentucky. Dr. Richard Sams will officiate. Friends may visit with Lane's Family from 11:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Monday, October 22, at Calhoun Baptist Church. A special prayer service for Lane and his family will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at the church. A livestream of the services will be available here.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Thumbs Up for Lane Goodwin Childhood Cancer Foundation; C/O Independence Bank; P.O. Box 39; Livermore, Kentucky 42352 or through a paypal account using the email donate@thumbsupforlane.org. Memorial contribution envelopes will be available at Calhoun Baptist Church and at Musters in Calhoun.
While the services are open to the public, all video and other recording devices are prohibited inside the church. The family will not be available for comments. A statement will be released following Monday’s service.
The mission of the Thumbs Up for Lane Goodwin Childhood Cancer Foundation, Inc. is to support childhood cancer research through funding and advocacy while empowering families battling childhood cancer by providing education, financial assistance and a volunteer network.
