Headed South Qualifies for WBKR’s Battle for The Big O Finale [Video]

Central City, Kentucky is representing in this year's Battle for The Big O competition.  Over the weekend at Towne Square Mall, the trio Headed South took the stage and gave this amazing performance of Little Big Town's "Your Side of the Bed."  Take a look!

With that performance, Headed South tied for first place out of 16 Battle hopefuls and will now move onto the Battle for The Big O finale event, Saturday, August 24th at Diamond Lake's Good Time Theatre, where they'll be joined in the finals, in addition to other amazing acts, by another Central City-based band, Boys of Broad.

One more open audition site remains for the 2013 Battle for The Big O.  It's coming up Friday, August 2nd at Hawg-n-Sauce in Mount Vernon, Indiana.  Registrations start at 5pm and auditions get underway at 6.  For full contest rules, CLICK HERE!

And stay tuned to WBKR.com!  Tickets for the 2013 Battle for The Big O finale will go on sale Monday, August 5th on our website, at the WBKR studios and Diamond Lake Campground and Resort.  Those tickets are $10 per person.

The Grand Champion of the 2013 Battle for The Big O will receive $1,000.00 and the right to open the 2013 Bath Fitter Big O Music Festival starring Jake Owen, Justin Moore, Love & Theft, Colt Ford, Lo Cash Cowboys, Kristen Kelly and Jaclyn Graves.
