Here Are A Few Dolly Parton Songs Erin Thinks NBC Should Turn Into Movies [VIDEO]

In case you missed it, it was announced last week Dolly Parton signed a development deal with NBC to produce a series of TV movies based on her life.

From what I read, I'm thinking the basis of a lot of these movies will be Parton's songs, like the obvious choice, "Coat of Many Colors". So, I got to thinking, which other songs would make great, fun for the whole family TV movies. Let's do this!

"My Tennessee Mountain Home"

I know a lot of these songs could be incorporated into one movie, but this one must be there.

"Apple Jack"

I have to confess, this might be my absolute favorite Dolly song. I can see "Apple Jack", hear his voice, and I see him picking that banjo. Now's that a movie! Someone get me a tambourine!

"Jolene"

If it hadn't been for a red-headed bank clerk who flirted with Dolly's husband, we may have never had "Jolene". Okay, this one may not be for the whole family, but it would make a good movie.

Well, that list turned out to be shorter than I thought. LOL! I know I'm excited to see what Dolly and NBC come up with.
